Da Vante’ Jenkins-Gethers, CSW received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Southern University at New Orleans receiving. Da Vante’ has worked in behavioral health for 3 years in an outpatient setting, servicing the community. Da Vante ‘serviced client’s managing anxiety, depression, bipolar, autism, ADHD, grief, and trauma. In her practice she implements individualism (starting where the client is). Da Vante’ specializes in a strengths-based practice.
Da Vante’ believes in life we all transition but during the transition we encountered uncertainty (growing pains). The best part of our journey is not the end results but the obstacles that we overcome conforming, we are strong, powerful, and courageous. Our beliefs about ourselves are often rooted in experiences of misfortune and oppression. Therapy is a tool created to assist in resilience, growth, and healing.
