Rebecca S. Ryan

Rebecca S. Ryan, PLPC, NCC, MT-BC, is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Music Therapy from Loyola University New Orleans, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music from Emory University. During her master’s education, she gained experience working with individuals and groups in several settings, including counseling agencies, substance abuse facilities, and hospitals. She focuses on clients with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and adjustment issues.

Rebecca believes that all clients are capable of positive change and growth and that clients are the experts in their own lives. She strives to develop a non-judgmental, trusting relationship in which she can understand clients’ experiences. She operates from a person-centered orientation and also understands that all clients are unique. She will work with each client to develop a strategy of counseling that works for them.
